It was a busy sporting weekend on the Fraser Coast for Shaun Ryan Media.
Cricket, gymnastics and speedway action were all on the cards on Saturday afternoon.
Fraser Coast Sports Media requested assistance with sports photos for cricket and speedway events, while photos and an article were required from a gymnastics grading event.

All of the events were staged in Maryborough.
From a personal perspective, it was great to be out covering sport again. Shaun Ryan Media assisted Fraser Coast Sports Media with photos of the cycling leg of the Hervey Bay Hundy earlier in the month.
I have taken cricket photos before while still reporting in South Africa for the Southlands Sun and South Coast Sun newspapers.

However, Saturday was my first visit to the Maryborough Speedway in Tinana and the Maryborough GymSports club.
It is always good to watch and photograph sporting events for the first time.
